I am trying to figure out how to split up my mixes on Soundforge. I make great mixes and have no idea how to split them up. I want to be able to skip through as differing tracks once the cd is burned.
ANY help is greatly Appreciated.
Thanks.

open your wave file
drop marker (M) from the beginning, the track, up to the end
convert marker to region
export regions
now your mix is all separated!

Drop markers wherever you want a new track. Make sure you have one at the very beginning and very end of the wav.
Highlight the entire wav with CTRL+A
Go to Special -> Region List -> Markers to Regions.
Go to Tools -> Extract Regions.
Browse to a destination folder where you'd like all your individual tracks stored.
Enter a prefix for the filename. Example: MyHotMixVolume1_
Click the Extract button.

THANK YOU!! I will assume that will also work with mp3 files as I generally convert them.

There is no difference, works just the same, so long as you have the mp3 plug-in
