fx processors?

I'm looking to start messing around with effects just a little bit and it looks like I could pick up a Behringer tweakalizer pretty cheaply. Does that mean I would take then the line output from the scratchamp, plug that into the tweakalizer, then plug that into my mixer, thus requiring 2x tweakalizers?

If anybody could explain to me how you integrate one of these into your signal path, that would be awesome. Thanks =) Sorry to be a newb about it but I've never fooled around with it before.

Ideally, you'd want a mixer with send/return inputs, that wsy you only need one tweakalizer. If your mixer doesn't have a send/returns, then you have to hook it up after the SL1 and before the mixer. However this only let you put effect on one channel, so you'd need two tweakalizers if you want effects for both channels. Or you could do with just one and hook the master out of the mixer into the tweakalizer, the the tweakalizer out to your speakers/amp.
