Serato Dreams

I guess it's bound to happen when you are looking at a screen for four hours, and then go home and go to sleep, you are going to have "Serato Dreams"(or nightmares).

Last night I dreamt that I was at a club where a dj was using Serato and activated the trancifier, but it got stuck on the last repeating madness and everyone in the club was freaking out. And I was yelling "ALT T!, ALT T!"
Scary shit.

Anybody else having these?

And yes, I've had serato nightmares too, but mine usually involve a track coming to the end and I haven't figured out what to play next yet.

u know, thats funny, i used to use vdj, but i dont anymore its a peice of s software and NO One should ever use it! I SWARE!

he's talking about crashes, mis-features, subpar vinyl implementation and general instability. i too am a vdj user since version 1.09 (a long time ago). still use it every week for spinning videos. i think i've discovered most of the common ways to make it crash, i don't do those things so it never crashes for me. for new users though, it sometimes takes a while before you figure out all the crashes.

After you get over the learning curve of stupid can't do this - can't do that in conjunction with this and expect that to work again, you might have a stabbing chance of keeping it alive. I play it in auto mode at work and 3 manual songs skips cause a crash. How dare I skip songs!! F'n software blows donkey dick. This is a set it and forget type software. Took me over a month to figure out why some songs don't even load, one simple setting overlooked. That's why it gives me nightmares.

I was really hoping I would never have one but last night was NUTS. great crowd, loud, 4 hours straight.

it a weird one also. the wave files were like fish eyed as in the middle part was zoomed in the and upper and lower parts zoomed out.

the song that was playing was let the music play (lame 80's song) that I didn't even play last night... *confused*
