Okay,

So i have 25,000+ songs in my library... I had 4,000 songs left to build overviews/auto bpm/auto gain on. I was doing something stupid and wasnt patient and hit "reset all gains"...

Now its back at 20,000 songs.... I F**cking LOVE TRIAL AND ERROR!

So to everyone... never ever hit that button.

why oh why... don't they have a lockout feature? COME ON SERATO!

Is that a button? I thought you have to drag your tracks onto that button?

Words of advice to everyone:
1. Build your overviews

2. Don't fu*k around with serat while its building! No matter how long its takin'! I've seen alot of cats lose shit, have it take longer, etc cause they were tryin to mess with serato while it was building.

please no dumb comments because i'm new to serato... but i typically build my overviews on a desktop (mac) and take my laptop on the road. can i make crates on the desk top and carry it over to the laptop? (i use an external drive)

Really what are overviews I don't get that . How do u build overviews. All I do is upload that track to itunes . Put bpm ,name ,genre,artist. Then make crates for each genre...what is overviews
