smoothe, there's a really easy way for you to immediately stop getting bashed, and start getting the most out of the forum. members will even respect you (at least as show you as much respect as is possible on an internet forum)! here's what you need to do:
1) stop posting threads everytime a random idea pops into your head!
2) if you have a question, at least do a preliminary search. for instance, before anybody asks "what's up with windows vista support", all they would have to do to find out would be to type "vista" into the search field and press "return". That's why some people get irritated when others are constantly asking questions that have been answered before. there are literally dozens (hundreds?) of repeat threads in this forum. people get tired of explaining things to every person who pops up and is too lazy to look for themselves.
3) the spelling/grammar thing, although horrifying to me as an individual, would have most likely been left alone....IF you had obeyed rules 1 and 2.
4) if you post a thread and people begin talking about how idiotic it is, or if you just don't get the info you want, you'll very rarely improve your situation by whining about it. just let it slide, disappear for a little bit, and when you return, make your involvement relevant.
i'm sure this is falling on deaf ears, but for some reason this morning i felt like typing...
