I just recently built all my overviews with the AUTO GAIN AND AUTO BPM buttons checked and i was happy at first but come to see that it adjusts my gains on a lot of tracks to to low of a volume. I tried deleting my "scratchlive" folder but the overviews still remain built when i upload my music again....my question is how do i undo this??

cool...so i should install it and run it and i should be good to go?
Just an fyi...overall its a cool feature but where the downfall is, is that if you have lets say an acapella where the begining (usually where the artist is dropping names or just talking over the track) of it is at a certain volume and then it gets louder as the song starts up, serato will lower the db on the entire track so that when you try to scratch in the begining its to low to scratch in, so you turn up the gain on your mixer and as soon as the volume goes up all of a sudden its too loud...or the instrumental for a song might be turned up louder then the actual lp version and you have to adjust the gains just to throw in the song....
Thanks for the help

Yes.
Well SSLs auto gain works like a fixed volume adjustment for each song. The entire song will me gained up by a constant factor. It wont make like the beginning louder and the rest lower, thats wouldnt be good.
C'mon, DJ-A, you've been to the forum for some time. Don't tell me you don't know how to read the release notes and manual ;)

You just need the Scratch LIVE software. IF you know how to auto-gain them, just look to the right of the screen and you'll know how to undo.

so after you do auto-gain is it kind of an on off feature? or do you have to run it all over again to get auto gain back on?

Sort of... You dont have recalculate the overviews. Please read the release notes.

If you happen to use itunes to organize your music you can just highlight all of the tracks you wanna undo, click get info and check to box for volume. Make sure the volume slider is at zero and next time you use ssl its all good.

Several users reported that this doesnt work. I tried it for myself with iTunes 7 and it didnt work either.
