wondering if the video can play "disengaged" from the TTM?
I mean I would like to be able to play a regular mp3 set, while a third video is just playing.
I wouldnt want to turn all my files into videos just to add video.
if that makes sense?

Yeah thats not going to happen since there is no video for alot of tracks, Is that all new hardware? like for the video output?

No new video is involved you need a laptop with a monitor or video output that can display a different signal to the one on screen. Then you use the laptop screen for monitoring and the external for the output.

ya they will have something that is generic or pre defined video to play i would assume for tracks with no video, rather then just album art....

right, so the answere looked like it might have about to be answered before the video cut.
maybe its a mater of switching between the two programs, switching out of video disengages the fader. but then what happens when you flip back into video if the fader is on the wrong side?

So, I guess I'll need a new projector. The one I have is a dinosaur!
Also, I agree about the 3rd video source idea. I think there should be a default video associated with regular mp3s - meaning if you mix a regular mp3 your own little motion graphics can play, but if you mix in a video, the video will come in, and if you mix out with a regular track your own little motion graphics come back in. That way there won't ever be dead video.
