I bought my mixer 2 weeks ago and already having problems
PGM2 Side of the mixer has stopped functioning properly
the volume fader does not funtion at all i move it and
the sound stays at the same level which is also alot
lower then PGM1 it sometimes goes higher again on its
own acord but then goes back low again !! the leds
on PGM2 side of the mixer look dull compared to the
ones on the left hand side

This is whilst using normal vinyl not mp3s
it was fine up untill today

has anybody had this problem have i pressed or knocked
a button or is it dieing on me after 2 weeks well about
8 hours use in total :(

i was mixing 2 vinyls with my technics and
it was plugged into my computer.
I think i was re-installing windows XP
when it happened could this be a reason ??

Please any help would be nice ;(

If your mixer is less than 1 year old it can go to Sennheiser for repair, however I'm not sure what your position will be since you don't have proof of purchase.

It sounds to me like you might have some loose wiring. I would take the faceplate off and see if anything obvious is coming apart. You can try taking the fader out and swapping it with another in the mixer.

hi thanks

have you got a telephone number for this sennheiser place
and also if i take the face plate off would that
void the warrenty ??? as i dont want to do that

where the serial number is on the back it says 5-10-06
im guessing this is the date of it been manufactured ?

Glad to hear all your faders are working, not sure how the ribbons could work themselves loose.

Removing the faceplate doesn't void your warranty it is described in the manual. I'm not sure what to do with the broken button, make sure it isn't catching against the faceplate. Does it work without the faceplate on?

If you need to get hold of Sennheiser they are the UK Rane distributor contact details are on the rane site => www.rane.com

Thats a good question. I think you are not the first one reporting that kind of issue. :(

I've wrapped electrical tape around all 3 now to prevent
this from happening again " Hopefully"' !!!
