Hi TTM team,

First, I like your product. Having said that....I'd like to know why didn't you integrate a CD control surface into the TTM mixer? To me it makes sense. This way when I play a gig, I use my TTM and my lap top, and that's it. No CD player to carry around.

I'd even be happy if it only had a dedicated play & cue buttons, and a pitch slider to control the SSL virtual decks. Is there any plans on integrating this into the next revision?

Are you looking integrating SSL into any of the other DJ mixers? Personally I'd love to see it integrated into a MP44 or 2016.

You can control almost everything fromt he mixer, which means you can mix wiht all the SSL controls, no need for TT/CD. This is all described in the manual.

NIk, Just cause you can control it from the mixer doesn't mean it has the same feel as a cd player. In my opinion the ultimate feel would be 2 pitch sliders, 2 play/pause buttons, and 2 cue buttons. That whole group thing is too much for the average jock, and programming the custom groups is not easy. It's not practical to have the controls on the mixer, if it doesn't have the look and feel of a CD player. With the size of the text SO small on your laptop screen (sizeable text option would be nice), you need to keep your computer in arms reach. If I can reach my computer, and the buttons don't have an LCD display on the mixer, why bother to put them on the mixer. It's hard to express what I'm trying to say in text.

As far as the info being included in the manual...Someone needs to re-write it who uses the software. It's not an easy manual to read.

So what exactly are you complaining about? Arent you asking for a completely different product with jog wheels and everything?
