Hello friends, I have a question.
I listened to underground Gangster Rap groups like South Central and CMW when I was a young teenager with my friend Ant-Man.
Now, as I DJ, I don't remember the deeper joints and the classics too well, except maybe a few.
We could just make this a classic underground Cali G-Rap thread, too, but I'm concerned some people won't understand, and start recommending Warren G or Snoop or sump'n off-topic.

King T was that dude. He had flow and rhymes and DJ Pooh was killin it with the BEATS! I was/am a big King T fan. It's a reason why Dre keep him and DOC around to write.

1) RBL is definitely on the list! While I was mostly adressing LA, the Bay can be included, as long as we're discussing the more 'G' elements.
2) The artists could be on a major, just not have really blown. "Quik" wouldn't fit because he has been big from near the start, as far as I know.
Mad CJ Mac was on a major, but he never really blew-up, so he could fit the list.
