how do you address yourself when dealing with more "professional" businesses? I have to return a call and want to if i should refer to myself by my dj name or my gov't, she has my card,which has both, on the message she didn't use my name

I would use your real name. Afterall thats what will appear on your paycheck.

Better yet, don't call but speak to her in person.

phone up and say who you are using your real name and that you have a booking under the name "DJ C*ntchops" or whatever you're called...

If it's to try and sound out a gig then just call under your real name and say you have my card, and i work under the psuedonym "dj C*ntchops" or whatever you're called.
