howdo -can anyone advise best cartridges /needles ?-just for st8 forwarded mixing with use on technics 1210s mark 2

I'd go with SCHURE needles. a Whitelabel if you interchange between SSL and regular vinyl, or go with the M447 due to its fantastic tracking.

if ya got money get those, want to save a $$ get m447's u wont be disapointed, they are what most dj's use.

THE LONGER THIS THREAD GOES... the more you will hear that you should buy the shure m447H's w/ headshell or the m447's without em. might as well go w/ the headshells.

if ya got money get those, want to save a $$ get m447's u wont be disapointed, they are what most dj's use.
I only know a 2 dj's in this area who use the m44-7.. me and anouther friend of mine... and i switched over to the Q-berts.. all the rest use the pink Ortofons scratch or concord style. I alwasy say..... try several out ocer time and finaly go with the one you feel you like the best.

anybody have any extra hardware to their shure m447's one of screws on mine loosened, now I'missing that circle thingy that goes around the screw and connects teh cart to the top of the screw.

local record/dj equipment spot will (should) have plenty extra. if they charge you, hate.
