Can SSL be run directly from an external hard drive?

I own several computers and would like to not have go through setting up certain aspects of SSL if I didn’t have to. Can SSL be ran directly from the external hard drive on Windows XP, or is there some windows registry issues to deal with.

my guess is that it will run directly from the external. i've never tried though. my suggestion is to try it and see.

The answer is no. Besides DLL issues, SSL saves it's settings in the registry. If you have that many computers, I'd backup that registry key after setting up SSL and just run it after you install it on a new machine.
