Problem with External Hard Drive.

Hi, i've just transfered most of my music to external hard drive, and i intend to connect it whenever using SSL.

Is this okay to do??

My main problem is that when i rename a trak is SSL, then disconect the External Hard drive, and then reconnect it....the trak i've just renamed goes back to it's orginal name.
How do i prevent this from happening???

Please Please help.

I have experienced this.

From what I have found is that if you have the SSL interface disconnected them go thru your tracks and go to load them as if the interface was connected (Ctrl + L arrow or right arrow), it will change them back to what you changed them to and should save them that way.

and then the next time you go in they should be all set.
well thats what happens for me at least.

Can i just confirm what your sayin...

Disconnect the SSL box but leave the External Hard drive connected..... then drag the track onto the left or right deck?? How do i load the traks if the SSL box is disconnected??
