VIDEO-SL / TTM57SL / Crossfader

I have never used to the TTM57SL but am walking into a gig that has one setup.
By default the crossfader - is it linked to only the transition between videos?
If so, is it possible to map it so that it handles BOTH the video transition and the audio fade between decks? Also is it possible to adjust the CF slope?
I am hoping to create a simple solution for a simple result of very simply fading and transitioning between songs with the movement of the crossfader L-R.

Thanks.
The reason I ask, is because when I use Video-SL at home without the TTM57SL, and I use my mouse to move the fader between video decks - it only handles the video portion. I want it to do both audio and video when I use the TTM57SL external mixer. Do I have to midi map it to behave that way?

Just to be more clear - with a movement of L to R on the crossfader - I want to:
1) fade audio out of deck 1
2) transition between video on deck 1 to video on deck 2
3) fade audio in on deck 2.
I am not beat mixing or scratching. Just want to elegantly mix between decks with a simple movement of the crossfader.
It kind of seems like currently I would need 3 hands to do this to handle the 2 vertical audio faders and the L-R video crossfader
1) fade audio out of deck 1
2) transition between video on deck 1 to video on deck 2
3) fade audio in on deck 2.

dude you don't have to do anything. plug in your computer, start ssl.
you'll notice the hardware section. which is like a 747 cockpit (rtfm).
anyways the 57 by default has xfader controlling the audio/video mix between deck 1 & 2. upfaders control audio level and video opacity. you can link/unlink all faders and adjust the contour via the 57 or vsl.
