I will be using the 57 out for the first time this weekend at the club I work at. The club currently has this mixer there that I use right now...

How can I hook up the 57 to this? Is it ok to hookup the AUX RCA output to the xone mixer line input, kill the EQ's on the xone mixer and just run it off like that? Just wondering if the aux output of the 57 is feesable to run my tunes through. Thanks!

You could do that, I think there are a couple of better options.
1. Use either the main out or the booth out and hook up to two of the mono inputs on the left hand side of the 464 and pan them hard left and hard right.
2. Use either the main out or the booth out and hook up to the ext input connectors there is a small knob to adjust the volume on the top right of the 464.
The reason for choosing either of these is that you can use balanced connectors.

Spot on, you will need two jack to jack cables with 1/4" TRS plugs. That's the ones that look like stereo headphone connectors. You could also use female XLR to 1/4" jack plugs.

Well it didnt go well for me today nobspangle. Club didnt have any 1/4 jack plugs there. All they had were female XLR cables. To run the XLR's out the main 57 to the 464 where would I connect it to? I saw some mono inputs on the left hand side but microphones are hooked up to it. Any ideas as to where I can hook them up at? I used the RCA's aux output and it didnt sound right at all.

Are you saying that the clubs 464 mixer didn't have the ext input connectors?

Ehm... if you take your mixer to their club isnt it your task to bring any additional cables etc (unless you informed them before they need this and that)?

Alright I know this is an old thread but got some issues. I went ahead and got the right cables (XLRF to 1/4 TRS) for me to hook up my mixer to the 464 ext input. Well when I hooked it up and tried to play through it I got nothing. Master out the 57 going into the 464 ext input left and right. Am I doing something wrong?

I have never hooked anything up to the external source. There has to be something on this mixer to turn on the ext input source or something.

I got an idea...what about hooking up my XLRF from my main on the 57 to TRS on CH 6,7, 8 or 9 on the 464? They are all stereo inputs it looks like. This should work...if anyone can help or give input please. Thanks!!
