Need midi and ableton help

I have a Evolution MK - 249 C midi and just scored Ableton.I was using my midi on a PC for some shotty Kinetic program. Now Im on a G4 powerbook and I cant get it to work in ableton.Any pointers

Which version of Live are you using?

Normally you just go to the menu at the top (Live > Preferences) (or just press apple+comma) and then go to the MIDI options and activate/enable your MIDI device there.

Yea activate it then.. in the session view, make sure u select ur MIDI device under "MIDI From" and choose "Monitor In" on the track ur trying to use the MIDI on .. thats how i got my keystation to work after a day of trial and error. :P good luck and u'll love this program
