yes, but I knew A&H would be coming out with a new mixer and the S2 looks sexy. I like all the features on it. What held me back from a Xone 92 & DJM800 is that they don't have as many input options as the Pioneer DJM3000. Input options are huge for me because of Serato. I use Serato with CDJs and I hate using 4 channels to be able to run Serato properly. With the DJM3000, you only need to use two channels because each channel has 2 Line Inputs plus a phono input or a Mic input.
I havent found anything on the input sources of the Xone S2 but from the picture, it looks like it has a knob for selecting your source. That means it has more than just your typical LINE/PHONO input per channel. At least I hope it does, or else it would be a buzz kill too. :(

Oh one more thing, I'm hoping Pioneer upgrades their DJM3000 to match the DJM800, and I'm waiting to hear about the rumor that Rane has a 19" or Empath mixer with SSL coming up so I can make my final decision.
Than again, a mixer with built in Serato is not a good idea for me since I play at different venues every week.

The headphone jack is in a very weird spot on the S2. Other than that it looks nice.

btw, I think the best product is the controller 2D even though I hate its shape, they could have used the space much much better!!! Yet in combination with a Xone 92, if you already have one, is a great way to get all the features of a Xone 3D without the overkill...

I think they made the 2d that shape because you can buy a kit to attach it to a Xone 92. I'm thinking once the 2D is attached to the Xone 92, you will be able to rackmount them both without a problem.

Ahh, that 2D...adds yet another disappointing MIDI controller to the already weak offerings. At least there's no damn crossfader...IMHO, the dumbest thing to put on a MIDI controller.

that headphone jack there is kinda sucky... and it seems to be a 62 in the way of effects, with the addition of midi.
now that D2, I'm gonna hold off even considering that toy, even though I did start to learn Ableton.

Consider Behringer's kits, the BCF2000 and BCR2000. Cheap way to get into MIDI control (I have both and have way more MIDI control than I know what to do with), and the fact that it's Behringer is halfway acceptable because audio doesn't pass through it. ;)

I'm thinking a pair of Xone:2D's beside a Mackie d.4....
I can use the firewire on the Mackie d.4 to handle the external control features on my 'other' software and the Xone:2D's for all my midi control....

I took a nice hard look at the add-on at NAMM - helluva price tag on that... and I don't think I'll be getting one any time soom.
