portable DJ table?

since y'all are a resourceful group, I figured I'd ask this question and see what kind of solutions get suggested.
Does anyone know of a portable table that is suitable for DJ use? Something that is compact, sturdy, the right height & width for turntables etc, and aesthetically decent.
For most mobile gigs, the hall provides a table...then there are the occasional private penthouse parties where you have to improvise.

I got rid of the coffin, I now have individual flight cases. I used to have a 18-space rack that I would put the coffin on, but I downsized a couple years ago...

Dynamight,
I use a Quiklok stand which I'm SUPER happy with. It's model number ZJ-755. It's got a perfect place for my iBook as well. I personally don't use the turntable rests. I removed them because like yourself I have individual flight cases so I just rest the cases on the actual stand, mixer between the cases and call it good.

wow, nice...where'd you get yours from and how much was it?
I googled a bit, and learned the M.S.R.P. is $549.95!

Yeah I know, a bit of a hard swallow when you see the price. I came across one on the almighty eBay a few months back when I was in your shoes for $400. When I looked at the MSRP, I jump into the auction head first and saved a few bucks, though even at $400, it's still a bit pricey I think. But I am very happy with it. Folds up nicely and is very sturdy as well. Adjusts to various heights quite easily and the 'laptop' cradle as well as the mixer cradle have width adjusments too. Oh, the post that the laptop cradle sits on spins around as well.

cool, thanks yuri. didn't know about the odyssey table, it's cheaper than the quiklok one, and may be more practical too.

If I had the money...I would get the quikloc joint, but the vestax joint is universal.

I just got the Quiklok table and I love it. I payed $275 for mine. I got it in Philly.
I'm not sure if about traveling with it though...it's kind of heavy (and I work out almost everyday).
I use it in my studio and it looks and works great!!!

Armands in center city. I spend a lot of money there so they hook me up. This deal was especially good because I had purchased my Limited Edition 1200s from them as well.
Buying online is great because it saves a lot of hassle; but, it doesn't allow you to build the kind of relationships that will get you better deals.
Oh...there is an attachment ($70) that you can mount to the lower crossbar.

Oh...and everything is size adjustable so you shouldn't have any problems fitting your notebook. I have my 12 in ibook and cooler pad setting on the top stand.
