hmm - nice to hear they are updating it - but i was really hoping for something more than this.
at the very least - you would figure the next move they would make is to integrate the vfx1 into the main unit???
if vestax were to somehow incorporated motorized platters into this form factor that would be amazing.

This is absolutely NOT a slap in the face of early adopters. Just the exact opposite.

adding the effects unit would be great, but spinning platters is for the NS7. I compare the VCI to two CDJ's so no spinning.
Yeah not really a slap in the face because its improvement and advancement - but it does leave a bitter taste for someone who recently purchased a 300. Honestly I have no issues with any of the upgrades - but its cool to see some improvement. Would be interested in a few more things added to the controller. Maybe some buttons to edit beat grids, effects, etc. 250.00 for the VFX-1 is a huge rip off for what it offers in comparison to other similar controllers namely the X1. (200.00).

this is like the same thing as the original... slightly different...
i would have hoped for vfx-1 built into it... VCI-300FX maybe.....

I'd like to know more about the volume boost and what it means in terms of hardware and sound quality.

actually? because if I could run my VCI with a 1/4" thick power cable I would. I'd like to see what vestax can do when building around sound quality, and not USB power limitations.
