I must say the Xone DX's looping abilities are really sweet! However there's one thing i really wish it would do. Currently if you are in a loop and you turn the loop off, you can still see on the waveform where your loop was, however (aside from the store loop function which is kinda broken as i've read) there is no quick on the fly way to re-cue, (or hot cue?), back to the beginning of the loop as well as reactivating the loop.
Say I turned off my loop but then realized that I really want that particular loop back on, theres no way to just turn the loop back on like nothing happened. If you press LOOP ON/OFF you create a new loop from the point the playhead is at, my suggestion is a SHIFT > LOOP ON/OFF function to jump back as well as reactivate the last loop.

yes i can, just sometimes i don't always wanna disturb the set hot cues in a track.. 4 isnt even enough sometimes. And that doesnt address wanting to reactivate a loop that you, say, accidentally turned off. It would be nice to turn the loop back on without having to wait for the proper moment to hot cue back to the beginning of the loop.

if you hit the loop in and out buttons at the same time it will activate the loop and jump to the start of it :)

hey thats kinda handy! only works on manual/stored loops but at least you dont always have to dedicate a hot cue.. thanks Pene!
I still think SHIFT > LOOP ON/OFF should; 1) when playhead is over a deactivated loop, reactivate said loop but without changing the in-point of that loop and just playing out normally as if the loop was never deactivated, and 2) when playhead is not over the loop jump it back to the beginning of last loop (manual OR auto set) as well as reactivating it.
If any of you have used Torq or M-Audio's Xponent there is a function like this.
