trust me it crashes and it crashes bad....
my comp crashed...the whole windows just shut down once i closed the serato after it stopped playing and since i was warned before about the beta gonna crash, i had a back up master mix cd cued up on one of the decks...
so tht night i escaped without been havin a huge pause...but yeh i took it easy...but yeh the moderators and people who made beta available for us to try is absolutely right..yeh may be 1 in 10 wont crash...but for me it did crash...even though when i practiced using 1.7 beta for like 4 hours testing its patience...it gave me no probs...thts the only reason i decided to try at the gig..so now you know...even if it didnt give you probs at home, it could still happen while u r at ur gigs..
so i would say avoid using iit at your gigs completely.
I understand that you both are having problems,
Shadow you know I feel you on this because you and I had hella probs with 1.5, but remember its gonna work eventually and you know by agreeing to use the beta that the only way it is going to get better is to put your info and problems of the beta forum so that the SSL programers can fix it.
