Question about the Empath

Does the Empath have the same fader as the 56? I was using an empath at my homies house the other night. He said it is the same fader, but it feels way different to me.

It's not the same, the Empath uses the Penny & Giles fader and the 56, of course, uses the patented magnetic faders.

i thought the empath used magnetic cross and pg line faders. hmmph. i guess i didnt know at all.
