So I'm at the gig last night and I notice little ant size pieces of black gunk on my powerbook. Hmmph. Weird. I blew it off and kept doin my thing. 5 minutes later, more black gunk. WTF? I blew it off and went back to spinning. Well it never stopped, I couldn't figure out where it was coming from but apparently my subs were shaking some crap loose in the ceiling and it was depositing itself on my laptop.
It got so bad that my keyboard started having problems and keys were not working. I was PISSED.
I told them to figure out what was causing the problem and fix it! It turned out to be a fire spicket thing that had some gunk gathered around it. They McGyver'd it by putting a styrofoam cup over it and taping it to the ceiling with duct tape. I am not making this up. That did fix it, no more gunk on my lappy the rest of the night.
My keyboard is still messed up though. Hopefully, hitting it with some canned air will fix it.
