SSL works great with CDJ1000's. The only issue with any of the CDJ type decks is that you won't be able to use the "Master Tempo / Key Lock" feature. These schemes alter the audio stream by time stretching (or adding to) the data/audio, this makes it impossible to correctly decipher the proper needle/laser location. It's analogous to trying to read a book after someone has added random, unreadable pages throughout. We cannot support schemes that alter, filter, compress or limit the control signal. But we can support this feature in a future version of the software.

no worries about warped records...and you can make as many spares as you need.

cue point sometimes "skips" while skratchcueing but i heard has been addressed in the upcoming version 1.3

the hot starts and looping features don't work as well as they do with a normal audio cd — you get a small delay and click at the beginning of a hot start for example. But, for general mixing/scratching, it's cool.

i use it with mine a few times a week and i love it. the hot points, and just being able to rip that bitch back and not worry about it skipping, lol. CDJ's work well with SSL it completes the digital package if you ask me. i also never have calibration or sound issues like you do with bad ton arm wires or headshells.

Was about to say the same thing but was beaten to the punch.

One last comment: If a drunk ass M*%^&* F%^&$ bumps in to your CDJ decks they wont skip or scratch your record. Shit with CDJ 1000's you can dj a party on a motor boat while bumping waves (ocean waves not pro-tools plug in) - LoL
