Playlists are overrated. When I see a playlist half the time I wont listen because I dont want to hear those songs, Y not take a chance and enjoy the element of surprise

25 mins. I recorded it within Serato, then re-opened it in Cool Edit, tried to get rid of some of the hiss, and saved it as a wav

I was first exposed to Bmore a few years ago. I got my hands on a Bmore remix of Bone Crushers "Neva Scared". Until a few days ago that was the only Bmore track I had. Now Ive got about 15 or so and Im definetly gonna try to pump these up in the OC Clubs... I will load up an mp3 version of the mix to increase the download speed. sorry bout that

Breakdown:
- Dope JT mix at the intro, Who made it?
- Who made the "Who Could It be" mashup?
- Who made the "Gettin Head/Shawnna" mashup?
Overall a pretty damn good mix of whats hot in the bmore circuit. You and I definitely play alot of the same dope cuts from Bamabounce, Trilladelphians, Ayres, Nick Catchdubs, DJ Bookz, Booman... Most of the transitions were good... Some started to drift a little bit but not too bad. The Booman to E-40 mashup was probably the one transition that was most questionable. Ive played alot of EDM over the years (drum&bass, jungle, hardcore, breaks, house). The best advice I can give you is to let your mixes ride out a little bit more... Bmore productions tend to be all over the place. Like that first JT Remix into the JT Bmore mix... Instead of mixing out where you were at, You could have started the 2nd track earlier and had both tracks line up where the chorus of the first one ends and the 2nd track's vocals or drop finally kick in, to give it more fluidity. Other than that, Pretty dope. I should post up a lil set one of these days.
People should get down on the bmore tip. The great part about bmore is how its easily mixable with many other genres like hiphop, freestyle, high energy, house, techno, ghetto tech, breaks and whatever else is out there. Bmore puts a whole new spin on whats hot right now! Great mix CQuence.

Now that is some good criticsm, Thanks man, as stated before, this was my first attempt at a BMore mix, let alone EDM mix so i need to stop mixin like its Hip Hop and let the tracks ride out a lil more. The first JT song i kinda stumbled upon, Its either called the Rockaton remix, or made by DJ Rockaton, i dunno, but I think its by far the hottest Remix of my love. Same thing as the Who could It Be remix, I dont know who to give props for that mix but its real hot. The Shawnna remix was by DJ Technics, the majority of tracks on the mix were made by him. Like you said man, Bmore is real versatile and can easily fit into other genres of music while your rockin the crowds. Thanks again for the in-depth feedback

Actually, You can mix bmore like it hiphop. I like that part. I think just lining up the tracks so they drop together is more effective. Great mix. Imma holla at you bout some cuts.

actually on bmore cuts you should be layering and dropping them in pretty quickly. don't ride them out like house cuts....a minute overlap in the mix is a lot for a bmore cut. they're supposed to be dropped fast, hot and LOUD!
if you're looking for quality bmore stuff just head over to turntablelab and start researching the artist they have over there. you'll find your way to the best spots real quick.
and just to add to the pile o' mixes here's one i did this morning. it's not all bmore but it's got some cool disco mc'in on it from pase, spank rock, amanda blank and a few new bmore cuts as well as chromeo.

Your Bmore - Singin Sunday Remix (Roctakon)

I agree, on some of them, they should be dropped fast. I was just saying, on the one transition, he could have layered em a certain way... All good. To each his/her own. Ill post a set this week.

This was pretty good. Track selection is key when it comes to club music. It depends on your audience which tracks you should/shouldn't play and being as though you're not from Baltimore I'd say you did a good job by playing mostly remixes that people can recognize. I like the tracks you played a lot. Some of the mixing can be improved, but you have some DJs IN Baltimore that can't....... nevermind.
My .02 cents is to stick with your current ear as to what's hot, cause the tracks definitely were nice. Keep practicing the transitions and if you can listen to someone who can acutally mix tracks like these very well (ahem.... like myself.. lol!) you'll get an idea of the various transitions of songs you can do; kinda like hip hop as Audio1 mentioned.

Good choice of songs. The beginning was a little busy. The above guys gave some good advice. Tracks like DJ Books 'My Name is Hov' should not be cluttered because it's already super hype. Overmixing takes away from some of the songs. Nice subtle scratches. They sound like you used a compressor to make everything fit and they don't sound overbearing. I need to look into these Baltimore Club-type songs. I sometimes spin at a bar/lounge and this type of music would work there.

gotta disagree, nothign i hate more than mixes being uploaded with out a tracklist.
why? because I don't know you, or how good you are so i don't want to sit and download, and then listen to a mix that could potentially be utter cr*p without even the chance of a decent track being in their.
hope that makes sense, but i know for a fact that if you want more people to check out you're mixes include a tracklisting.
