Innofader + TTM 57SL

hamzter 10:54 PM - 27 April, 2010
I see there is one out now, but is anyone using it yet. I am so tempted to get one and put it in my 57SL.
dj shadow from detroit 11:00 PM - 27 April, 2010
why would you change out the fader? to me it seems pointless.

the 57 faders are top of the line.
hamzter 1:55 AM - 28 April, 2010
I like the way the Innofaders feel... but yes, you are right, the 57SL fader does feel sliky as well...

and...

Just cuz it's there.
dj krisp 8:27 AM - 28 April, 2010

hamzter 11:06 AM - 28 April, 2010
thanks krisp, that is the kind of feedback I am looking for. Was it quick and painless to install?
skinnyguy 6:30 PM - 28 April, 2010

hamzter 10:37 PM - 28 April, 2010

We've sold about 150 or so Innofaders just for the Rane TTM so apparently some DJs do prefer the Innofader. The main difference is that the tension is very consistent even if you don't push the Innofader exactly along the rail. This makes it far easier to control.

VSL will still work fine with the Innofader installed.
DJ Rugged One 5:04 PM - 24 June, 2010
That's wassup emarx. If I still had the 57 I would put the innofader on it for sure.
DJ Sidies 10:23 AM - 29 June, 2010
Is there anywhere in the UK that I can test one? On a 57
Haal Brawnsun 3:34 AM - 2 July, 2010
I haven’t tested out the innofader yet…the 56 & 57 magnetic fader seems top notch to me…not sure if I’d want to replace either.
terrible1fi 3:08 PM - 2 July, 2010
yeah. I just hate how you can't adjust the "cut in" without moving the sensor
DJ BIG DADDY 9:09 PM - 30 November, 2010
Has any body tried it inthe 57SL with video-SL?
Dj.Mojo 5:35 PM - 2 December, 2010
The only thing about the TTM fader that I don´t like is that it isn´t really "clicking". It is not a real metallic sound.
DJ TURN SIGNAL 10:19 PM - 2 December, 2010
I took off the tension spring and put like 3 drops of some oil I could find in my house and I have to say it is the best fader ever....

I had a problem wear it was getting sticky ETC, Once I cleaned, still sticky, once I put the 3 drops of oil(maybe I put 1 drop on each rail) it has been perfect for at least 6 months, AndI mean pefect(EX. if I flick my fader it will bounce back and forth 1 or twice). It is so smooth.

I would NEVER replace something that after 10 minutes of regular maintence. It seems to be good for an other 2 years before I need to drop a dab of oil.

I rebuild and fix everything under the sun in Los Angeles CA.

I vote no it replacing(but I have not FELT this new fader)

hello my friends, I tell them I had the innofader (in a vestax mixer and ECLER), now I have the crossfader rane ttm57 modified and is doing very well, but I like strange metallic CLICK, as one user above, I leave a video

I have a Innofader Installed on my 57sl, and it doesn't affect the midi at all, I prefer the Innofader, cause of the you can make the cut in time, sharper then the Rane fader would allow, and you can adj the tension. on the rane you your only options are the spring on or off the rail, or completely off Like I did. as far being solid I like the Rane better, the Innofader has slight more wiggle room.
