I feed off of that response from the crowds. What songs gets your crowds to have that response.

For myself, a couple include...
Montell Jordan - "This is how we do it"
Missy, Da Brat, Left Eye - "Ladies Night"
Koffee Brown - "After Party"

Theres more, but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

Anythin stick out in your playlist for your crowds?

Times sure have changed when it's a SHOCK to realize you have something on wax nowadayz.

It used to be, "Wow, you have the ORIGINAL PRESSING", or the IMPORT, or some other special mix or something....

Now it's just a big thing for something to be on wax...

Don't get it twisted, I can't speak for all Americans, so no generalization here...Some just care that they've got the recording PERIOD. But some of us look for other shit to go along with it. I wouldn't say it is or isn't an "American" trait, it just goes with how seriously you take collecting music.

Stay in your lane man...Don't get happy.

But yeah, I'd say GENERALLY SPEAKING, we as Americans don't cherish our music the way we should. All our artists go overseas where they are worshipped like they SHOULD be in the states...That trickles down to the nitty gritty of the music collector themselves....if the MAJORITY did stuff like look for imports, special pressings, or what have you, then the appreciation for our artists would be better...unfortunately it's not that way.

I did a party with Chief Rocka Busy B about 3 years ago. YO! In real life, that kat talks like he rapped.

Big ups to the Busy B crew/Atl real estate clique that had the party at the Candler Rd. Howard Johnson! I missed the main party, which was in a big suite. Hint: it didn't need a DJ.
