Made a few custom icons for SSL for you to decorate your precious little dock with ;) I have recently switched from PC to Mac and to be honest, the original SSL icon is not very nice! It doesn't fit among the other aqua icons!

If you have Windows the icons must be converted to .ICO and resized to 48x48

I think there is some freewares out there that will do the job for you! Search on Versiontracker for example. Don't know about the quality after the conversion though!

You should click on the small icon in the upper left corner of the Get info window. Not the large one that appear under the overview tab! When you have highlighted the small icon just paste the new icon.
Hope this help!?

Hmmm...weird! Well I haven't been on mac more than a couple of weeks so I just googled how to change an icon for an app and it worked for me! Maybe you must have the latest version of Mac OS X!?
I'll try to post a few images how to do it when I get home tomorrow!

Dj Dawn did the hard work making these icons. I went ahead and used Icon Brush and applied each icon to a folder. Now they work in OSX (sorry pc). You ca download the whole set here.

Nice m3sport!
Easier to download as a zipfile! I have to learn how to zip things on my Mac. Have recently switched from Windows so everything is a little bit new to me!
But you shouldn't need an app to change the icons! If you are logged in as administrator on your Mac you should be able to change the icon the way I posted about earlier!? It works for me anyway!
---------------------------------------------------
To select the icon you wish to use:
1. Click on the icon you wish to use
2. Click on Finder – Edit – Copy (or command+c)
To change the old icon to the new icon:
1. Click on the icon for the application you wish to change
2. Click on Finder – File – Get Info (or command+i)
3. In the Get Info window, click on the icon you wish to change
(the icon should become highlighted blue as shown in the image below!)

4. Click on Finder – Edit – Paste (or command+v)
You may need to be logged in as administrator!?

Based on your directions, I could not get it to work.
It should be:
To select the icon you wish to use:
1. DOUBLE-Click on the icon you wish to use
2. Click on Finder – Edit – Copy (or command+c)
To change the old icon to the new icon:
1. Click on the icon for the application you wish to change
2. Click on Finder – File – Get Info (or command+i)
3. In the Info window, click ONCE on the icon (upper-left corner small icon) you wish to change
(the icon should become highlighted blue as shown in the image below!)
www.badongo.com
4. Click on Finder – Edit – Paste (or command+v)
If steps 3 & 4 did not work, you may need to be logged in as administrator. Perform step 5 to be able to modify the properties of the file.
5. Within the 'Get Info' properties, under 'Ownership and Permissions', click the drop-down delta symbol for 'Details'. If it states 'system' you must change the property to whatever profile you are logged in as. To do so, click the lock beside this property to unlock it.
6. Change the property from 'system' to your current profile name. You will be asked to enter the administrator or profile password. Once this is done, the property will change to your current profile and you can then perform steps 3 & 4.
NOte: DO NOT FORGET TO CHANGE THE OWNERSHIP BACK TO 'SYSTEM' BEFORE RUNNING SSL!!!
It should be:
To select the icon you wish to use:
1. DOUBLE-Click on the icon you wish to use
2. Click on Finder – Edit – Copy (or command+c)
To change the old icon to the new icon:

Thanks DJ Gaffle! I really am a new to Mac ;) Please have patience with me!
I have created a version 2 of the icon-set. It has icons for Beta versions of SSL which you may want to treat as unstable! These ICNS-files should work a little bit better. Just let me know if not!

The icons is produced from PNG files without backgrounds so they should appear with a transparent background! What kind of background do you see? White, Black or something else? Have you tried to use all of the different icons?
Remember that you need administrator rights to change the icon of an app! DJ Gaffle posted this excellent guide that have worked for everyone so far!
