Transfer a crate to a thumbnail help

I occasionally run sets on house equiptment where their files and folders are a nightmare that never gets updated. Is there a way to take a crate from my ssl that has the music I like to play and put it on a thumbdrive without having to search through all of my music in the harddrive so I can have my personel folder on their hardrive and ssl? I know I can take my harddrive all together but want to avoid that if possible. Thanks

Yes, use the advance file management feature in 2.0, it can copy a crate(s) and all the songs in it to an external drive or flash drive/thumbdrive/memory stick, see this for how to... Watchwww.youtube.com (go to 4:38)

Perfect... Doesnt get easier than that. Guess I will have to go ahead and do the switch to 2.0 now. Thanks for your time.

This is great, but would like to know/see how to go the other way after its copied the crates to your external/flash drive. How to import crates and get them back over to your internal from your external or flash drive. Also if you dont check that box and it creates duplicates. Will the duplicates go away when you eject the other volume? Or do they stay there, because i might want to copy my crates to a flash drive but still keep all the tracks on my internal and not change the location or have duplicates.

Also where does it save the crate and all the mp3s on the external volume? does it create a crates folder to store all the mp3s and crate information or make a scratch live folder and add them there somewhere? Or does it just drop all the mp3s from your crate into the main volume and not in a folder? Basically how does it organize it? Is it neat or am i risking dropping a bunch of music all over my external/flash drive when i do this copy.

Thanks

Everything went fine when I did it a few times except it still seemed to make duplicates in the main harddrive ssl. I had to go through and delete them because it was showing file not found on either the duplicate or the original file. It creates a copy of whats in your crate. Not any ssl files.
