Trigger Finger & Loop Select - what is the value range needed?

using two of the rotary controls on a trigger finger and assigning them to select the loop number - i tried setting the range of the control value from 0 through 9 since there are 10 loops (including A) but this doesn't work - at full value though the control is too sensitive
anybody else have this problem, or a better range of control values?

this range seems to rap around the loop values - in other words i'll get to 9, then it will start going back down and then back up - way too sensitive to be useful
anyone know how the actually mapping is set up in SSL - a MIDI spec sheet would certainly be useful, like what comes with synths etc

Sensitivity can not be controlled by pot value it just how far the pot will turn in software.

No such cc map for Serato
the slider is good for loop roll and such on my homie's TF but knobs are alittle jumpy..

loop roll is fine with the knobs- it is loop select that is the problem
there does not seem to be a mapping such as A->0 9->128
