How old is too old to be in the club as a patron?

I've got some good seats for the Nuggets on Saturday night and am thinking about hitting up Beta in Denver afterwords. This is the first weekend I've had off this year from DJing and I want to hear that Funktion one system they got up in there. I went to their website and notice that Saturdays are 18+ nights, but the DJ's look good. So my question is, am I too old to go to the club, have some drinks and listen to some good house music? I'm 33, married with children and all of that so I won't be chasing any....
What do y'all think?

Nothing wrong with going to 18+ club at that age especially if your not chasing anything. I seen guys older that are regulars at 18+ clubs.

I think I look young. Sometimes when I meet people and say I work in IT, blah blah blah, they are like " Oh is this your first job?" Like I just got out of school or something.
I'm like what do you mean, Shit I've been working since I was 14. At work the other day I refrenced a Seinfeld episode and the gal says, "oh you're probably too young to remember that" WTF? I'm a grown ass man, sheeeet.

There are a couple of guys that are 50+ that consistently come to my residency. They always want me to play stepping or latin music and they hold it down + entertain the younger ladies with their dancing. They stick out in the crowd because of their older 'appearance' but to me they're paying customers looking for a good club to party at.
18+ is a little to young though. If I were 33, I'd prefer a 21+ crowd.

LOL, as a older guy the key or trick is to find a good position near the DJ booth and just hang out. Try and connect with the DJs without being annoying and let them know you came to check them out. If that isn't possible, post up at the end of the Bar and just Chill, if you look important enough, people may think you own the Club - LOL.
If you know the Promoters, Management or staff, and/or other DJs (resident), etc, that is always a plus.
Just remember - try not to hit the middle of the dance floor and do the Running Man or try and hit the Break Dance circle and impress the 18 yr old chicks and you should be good.

34 and still going to clubs. Most of the time it's fine, I tend to sick to clubs with a more mature clientele. However, I was checking a DnB night on Saturday and the crowd was real young, what looked like a 16 year old was trying to get me to dance with her, while flattering, it don't seem right, plus I can't dance anyway, so I saved myself the embarrasement and left after finishing my beer...

Well I went to the club, and it was all good. Beta was so packed nobody could tell the difference! On an interesting side note, everybody I met that night was a DJ in one form or another, haha. Is it like this everywhere?

I'm 33, going on 34 next month. I don't club nearly as much as I use to. I go maybe once every couple of months and it's always for someone's bday. I tend to stay away from Hollywood as much as possible since you are more likely to find young twenties crowd in a 21+ club over there and I just loathe the pretentious BS that crawls around there .
I do however go to bars and lounges where the average age of the patrons are late 20s-early 30s so I'm around my age.
I noticed that around major cities, LA/SF/Vegas/NY etc, it is more acceptable and more likely to find singles in their mid-late 30s. Where as people in the midwest and smaller towns seem to settle down, have kids at a much earlier age (mid 20s). I live in an area that has a LOT of singles in their 30's (Westside). I have a ton of friends both male and female that are single.
My point is that in my area, going to a club/lounge in your 30's is very common so I don't feel out of place at many locations I go to. If you are out in some midwest town or small town it may feel and look awkward.
end of rambling
