have a cover. I was go paint the 12's fully but decided not to when I say a friends that was painted. I will post the picture.

I'll post a pic of my 1200 later on. It was a project i worked on about 4 years ago. Straight arm and light blue candy paint.

My Homie fatbox did some the way your doing but I didnt like the finish. cos if their old and have scratches they dont look right they have like crack's in them.

yeah, I'm two layers of primer and 3 layers of color deep with wetsanding to 1500 grit between each coat. Taken about 3 weeks so far because of weather. I may have one or two more coats of color before I start in on the clear coat. Also going to be painting my platters too.

thats what he did. and I didnt like it that much.I was go do it till I saw the one's he finished. so I just painted the covers and got the black pitch slider decal's and put them on. the gray that shows I could of used a black marker but I was like naw .but at lease I can Take off the covers and change to the other covers and marble paint. with no down time.

yeah, I'm two layers of primer and 3 layers of color deep with wetsanding to 1500 grit between each coat. Taken about 3 weeks so far because of weather. I may have one or two more coats of color before I start in on the clear coat. Also going to be painting my platters too.
doing my platter's soon too. might do a florescent color just to freak it out. and bring out my needles.

I think they would have stood out more in a different color, gold, white? Cool idea though, makes me wanna paint mine.

I thought that too. but decided to do black to match the mixer. looks bomb in person. my girl started looking for new 1200 boxes. i was like them not new.

may need one more layer of color before I hit with 3-4 layers of clear gloss.
they also got new tonearms and rebuilt/cleaned throughout.
also put some blue leds in my MK5s yesterday and internally grounded them

I was going to take a recent picture of it but it is buried in its case under a few crates of records all the way in the corner of the garage. So to answer your question, no.
