Windows 7 w/ VSL?

I sit here waiting for the new MBPs to come out and see that the new Sony Vaio laptop has a ridiculous spec will be half the cost of a MBP. It's Windows 7. Talk to here -- has anyone used Windows 7 w/ VSL?

i have. initially it was a horrible experience. now it's an ok experience. i feel that to have an amazing experience one must get a mac. windows just has to many variables. (drivers, codecs, memory, other, etc).

i'm still keeping my windows 7 machine. but i'm getting a 2009 15" macbook pro for 1k.

i love windows btw. i have a desktop with two i7's in it!
