I cannot get my HC1000s to work with my macbook pro and Serato 1.9.2 or 2.0 beta. I have tried locating and deleting the MIDI folder within the ScratchLive folder but there is no such folder on my laptop. I press SHIFT + Files and CUE 1 buttons blink but that's it. Nothing works after that. I even deleted both SSL 1.9.2 and 2.0 and re-installed from scratch one by one and nothing.

this may sound crazy, but try swapping which USB port you plug it into - my Trigger Finger will only work on the left port of my Macbook Pro

I tried that. I tried connecting it to the left port of my Macbook Pro. I also tried connecting it to a powered Belkin USB hub. Same result with both. The CUE buttons blink but nothing after that. I even tried 3 different USB cables.

I've heard a few stories about logitech webcam drivers conflicting with the denon, might be a shot in the dark though... Mine's been working great from day one...

Mine is a little bit inconsistant. Sometimes I plug it in and I get the same response as the original poster. Most times it works just fine. When it does not respond I try unconnecting and reconnecting it and that works.

Never had a issue even with beta, very strange. Have you contacted denon?

I have found that sometime I have to have it connected before I startup SSL
