PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!!! And if you're into scratching- get a REAL record. I highly recommend any dirt style record. Primarily hee-haw breaks tho by dj butchwax (aka flare) lots of dope scratch samples. Definitely good to get a metronome too when you're first learning to do flares. There's tons of other resources out there too on youtube etc to learn new scratches. Just keep learnin and keep havin fun =]
Check out DJ Q-berts Do it Yourself Vol. 1 and 2 also for some good lessons on how to scratch. But practicing and listening to other dope dj's that inspire you will make you all the better.
