Denon's blaming Serato, Serato's blaming Denon. In the meantime Pioneer is getting ready to offer native support and 3700's are quickly going up for sale while new owners of CDJ 900/2000's are growing everyday. I've been considering that option myself if they beat Denon to the punch because I don't use CD's or any of the features on the 3700 (effects, loops, cues, etc...). Not to mention that the software that comes with the 3700 (Denon Music Manager) is Windows only but Pioneer's (Rekordbox) supports Windows and Mac.
Serato is saying that there are serious technical issues that would result in performance that's not up to Serato/customer standards and Denon is saying that the 3700 uses standard MIDI so there shouldn't be any reason why it wouldn't work. The examples of proof that they're using is a sluggish integration into VDJ and some unknown DJ software that's Windows only.
Serato is not saying that it's never gonna happen but that it's not at the top of their priority list right now, and Denon doesn't seem to be trying to hard to work with them (Serato) to make sure they beat the competition to the punch. Like I said, if Pioneer beats them to the punch and it works, I might just make the move even though it goes against my better judgement.
Sorry for venting but I think my money is worth more than that.

Wow.... I was just wondering the same thing! I've only had my Denon for a few days but thinking about taking it back and getting the CDJ-400 and calling it a wrap!

I don't think I'd get the CDJ-400 but if Denon or Serato doesn't announce something within the next couple of months, I'm selling mine. Especially if the CDJ900/2000's get it first.
