How about the BPM's broken down more..

Yes, I know everyone want to leave the BPM's alone and not auto-sync but how about breaking the BPM's down in "80.89" or tenths or hundreds of a minute after the main BPM.. it would make it alot easier and thing would run alot smoother and faster.. you basicly beatmatch off of a number and ears anyways.. Soo can we have the choice to break the BPM down even more.?? lets give it a try and go from there..

The BPM calculation is always a best effort estimation and never 100% accurate. Those hundreds (0.0x) of a BPM will almost always be wrong because of estimation/calculation errors and therefore useless.

2.0 already shows you the 10ths (0.x) of a BPM. Together with the waveforms that should get you quick and easy beatmatching.

I actually beatmatched last night useing the 0.0 decimals. I found it was very good in the way it all lined up rather then useing the old rounded up or down BPM.. I liked it alot, but i wish it was int he regular view tho.. soo I hope they come out with it in the Regular view.. it was a big help in beat matching..

yeah, the 0.0 are pretty good and more accurate than the rounded number, I feel as well that's an advantage But 0.00 would not be very useful I'm afraid because of the calculation errors.
I'm not sure though what you mean "regular" view.

Yeah it does jump and it doesnt give u an exact number to go by but as long as u are close in the range of it, it works and lines up alot better then have to push n pull the record or the beat and toggle with the pitch control.. I have found this alot more useful and has helped me move alil quickier..

and Ohhh the regular view.. when in 2.0 scratch live if you change your views, at least in mine i only have it in one view that the decimal comes up. but the regular view that most people use with scratch live the vertical view is what i would call regular view.. there is 4 views in 2.0.. you can select them right above the left deck..

Ooh, haven't noticed that the decimals only come up in 1 of the views.
