yea but i want to see dj's that are really top 40 djs play the club top 40 set. Dj city is a top 40 site and i dont want to see someone like dj scene play old school/under ground ish for an hr. Play the stuff people pay to come to see you play not what you want to play. The guys on dj city want and encourage them to play random ish witch is being a good host but damn.. I know im going to catch flack for this but i dont get to see this kind of dj live ever and just want to see them kill it like they would in vegas not play ther bed room set like no one is watching. People like sprite or the djs that are not top 40 djs its cool do your thing!

hmmmmm. you sound real young. maybe I'm just a dinosaur but Scene killllllled that set and believe it or not there are venues even here in Oklahoma where that kind of vibe can be played outside the bedroom. i guess i can understand if that's just not your taste in music but you can get other mixes from vice and scene that are on the club/top 40 tip in abundance. hell scene posts a mix every single week on his podcast, most are live i believe.

Or just turn on your radio when they have those mixers mixing. They all sound the same (majority). These are THE mixes that separate the boys from the men. Well, for me at least :P

That set was boring and scene is in my top 5 for dj's. A promoter would never put that set on display for people that pay good money to see a vegas dj ! love his cd's but like i said i wanted to see him kill it LIVE not on a cd. And if major clubs where you are still play that worn out ish congrats maybe 36 is the new 26 lol. 90s and late 80s hip hop is over stop being the "white" dj and thinking you are killing it with that old ish! You look more like a cookie cutter dj than if you played lady gaga. I am white and 33 and played that shit 10 years ago when it was old school and cool. Now its over kill and boring!

i disagree let the dj play whatever they want . listen to the interviews they say the play the same shit day in and out and when they go on the show they love doing ther own this. dj city sells funkymixs so should djs be playin all funky mixs. i mean this is to see the otherside of the top 40 club dj.

yea out of all that i said that would fix every thing. I just think of the guys that just play old school and under ground ish and busting there ass and to get where they are just have to see some top 40 dj steel there spot light. i get your thoughts, but in all honesty these guys have paid their dues, and in reality nobody really gets to play what they love anymore, we encourage people to play the things they love, not just random ish, cuz when you play the music you love you get the best of that deejay, now with that said, you also need to understand that these guys don't play once or twice a week at best that you and me might, these guys play almost every single night a week, and since they are performance based dj's they have their sets, do you really want them to walk into our show and maybe have that famous "i don't give a fuck" night that we all have after playing our well thought out sets. we will always follow through with our format til the day we shut down, which is do what you love, and those that are returning we encourage to challenge them, like sprtye who did a very club like set the first time around and the second time played some real true school hip hop that gave dudes like sizzahands drop their jaws. Each guy on the show is on the show for a reason.

This show is to bring awareness and great djs to OTHER DJS we dont' care about promoters in vegas, and neither do they, he's already a big name in vegas, why would he care if they'd book him over doing a show for a RECORD POOL. our job is to bring what you can't find anywhere else from the dj's we look up to ourselves. and i totally get you vegas, but you're thinking too VEGAS, if you get me. At the end of the day, if you enjoy the show watch it, if you do not, then don't plain and simple, but we will continue to work hard to bring these superstar dj's a bit closer to you. All of which are humble and great people aswell. so have some respect for them to take the time and do this for us at no cost.
