I have never seen this done before, but it would be great. One would be able to use their cue points as if they were samples, and then the song would return the position it would be in had the cue not been enabled. I think this would be a fun, innovative feature.
good work guys!

Sounds like a good Idea,
sort what you would do using instant double,
triggering cues on the double and using the crossfader?
Would be a lot easier the way you describe it :D

But wouldn't sound as good cause you'd be playing on top of the other track unless you really move the crossfader all the way to the other side and back.

As I never tried a "cue roll" function I would'nt know, Neither am I the fastest cutter.
I guess in some situations layering the sound (as opposed to cutting in) would sound worse, sometimes it would sound better... IMO
But, yeah Id definitively like to try play with it if possible :D
Actually for those "traditionalists" on this forum this is a step towards the "controllerism" direction, but the same can be said is regular cues, loops & rolls...

Wouldnt this work in the same way as Slip mode, where you can loop, cue, scratch, but the song remains playing in the background.
