Has anyone heard any mention of SSL supporting the Numark V7?
I like the idea of a HID spinning platter with cue, loop and library control all in one unit.

i can understand not supporting the soundcard but i don't see why the rest of the features can't be supported

I'm curious about this one aswell. I'm assuming it will as the NS7 can be used with scatchlive. I'm primeraly concerned with using V-SL with the V7 so would like to hear official feedback on this.
Don't get me wrong I like the NS7 but I had always thought it would work better as an individual controller, now this has emerged I would like to know a rough eta so I know when I can pick some up!

Could this possibly work with serato scratch live??? rip the ssl control signal, load it onto a deck in itch, then run the rca out of the V7 and into SL1 or SL3?

Yes. This does work. Loop the control tone. Works pretty well too...if you have 2 laptops or 1 very good one. But it is possible.

It's been done. I think this guy ran the control tone through ITCH while routing it through the SL-Box. Watchwww.youtube.com

I have been waiting for a long time. I have given up so this week end I plan to test the SC3900 if I like them I will sell my V7's and put towards a pair of Denon SC3900.

I gave up on the v7's man, they are a lost cause, so is Serato itch.
I've got two v7's collecting dust right now... A waste of $1200.

I gave up as well as i tried this tactic and i have a issue with the left platter. not to mention, it uses a LOT of cpu power on my MBP. Either Pioneer CDJ 850's or the Denon 3900's on deck for order TOMORROW!!!!! BOTH of them now support direct timecode so no need for cd's in scratch live. Not to mention that SSL just runs better for Video support.

Friends, is not posible to uso numark v7 only as midi controller?, the use in sound card mode consume much resources and the rj45 link is not 100% stable...
