Has anyone ever used/heard this little unit? They straight RiPPeD the Mackie SRM150 which I liked but always felt it was overpriced. I remember the Mackie could get really loud for such a small sized unit. I'm not sure about overall reliability.
This unit is $149 which is half the price of the Mackie unit. For a small monitor that'll mount on a microphone stand, this seems like a worthwhile purchase.
No disrespect to those of you that own Behringer products...

That doesn't look too bad, but I've never really had a problem with the Behringer stuff I've owned/own.

Gaffle, buy it and let me borrow it lol. I've been searching for a good, portable, mobile mini monitor.

Hell, I'm pickin one up!
Fell in love with the Mackie but you're right, It's a lil pricey ($300).
I'm sure this piece will more than suffice.

3 of the clubs I do went out (well, actually the sound installation company)
and bought the new 8inch & 10inch powered speakers for booth monitors.
its only been 6 months.
but they are still working, have low/hi eqs (at factory settings the speakers a bit harsh
on the ears, I trim the hi-s down to about 11'oclock)
they are small and have some kick.
personally, I preffer those models over the traditional stage monitor.
but it looks like the same unit with the control panel on the front.

No problem... income tax season is here so it may be soon. Like I said, the Mackie version cranks and I could imagine this unit being on a mic stand pointed at you while you're spinning + it's small and only 7 lbs.

I 've been wanting the Mackie version for awhile, but that price is a bit much. I've been carrying around a Behringer 12 power around for a monitor, but that thing is a bit heavy.
