serato seems to rely on other programs like handbrake for converting .vobs into their mp4 format. and like itunes to help create ur own library, wouldnt be easier if serato designed these programs themselves? that way people arent running all around to make ish work..
i dunno.. am i asking too much?

ScratchLive is easily capable of making and managing the library, there are a lot of people that do not use itunes whatsoever for SSL.

Besides that I don't really see how having to convert videos in a seperate program (if it ain't broke...) seeing as it's not like you would really need to do this on the fly.
I think even if Serato created these programs they would be (and most people would want it this way) seperate applications anyway. Not contained within ScratchLive itself because that's just adding more code and on-screen clutter.

I don't really see the benefit to this though? What is the point of serato developing applications that already work fine by developing applications that would likely take quite a while to catch up the level of programs that already exist?

i dont even care of serato charges for these programs. i would gladly pay, i just wanna know that its approved by serato. it has their name on it. such as a tagger too. a converter.. anything to do with serato.
