Anyone else having a headphone volume problem?

I thought my hearing has been going out for the past month or two because every time i plug in my head phones i had to turn the volume way up just to hear it. But when i was mixing other times it sounded fine at very low volumes. Well i finally figured it out, with the volume fader down on the channel the head phone volume is low. When the volume fader is up the headphone volume gets louder.
Something internal is messed up on the mixer. No the headphone volume is not set to main out :). While cueing a song if i push the volume fader up and down the headphone volume goes louder and quieter intermittently. My 57 has been used weekly for the past two years so i wouldn't be surprised if something has come loose.

The headphone volume is dependent on the channel faders position of up or down, when it shouldn't be.
Does that description make sense? Maybe i should make you tube video :)

If you headphone is selected to Master then is fine, set to cue then you have a problem.

does the headphone fader work? Meaning when you go to channel 1 you can only hear that channel and vice versa (on cue).

Might want to get in touch with the Rane folks either by email or phone and explain your situation, you might have to send it in for service/repair.

still an issue??
isolate the problem by trying different headphones, same headphones with an adaptor for the other headphone jack. With and without decks plugged in...

Same problem here... It's definitely an issue with either the mixer. Additional to the issue stated, the level lights are completely off when the fader is all the way down. Whn the fader is up, it acts normally, lighting up as it should. This mixer has so many buttons that I never use, I hope it's a simple fix.
