Wel-Come 2010 and Happy New Year to all you guys. So, New Year is here, we need to bring some new system too. So far been using scratch live and found that we really need improvement in Library and the effects. Only these two is the function that we need to focus on. Look at the Tracktor. Just a suggestion.

Why build your products on comparision to others? My view on Serato is that they are an original company with a lot of talent that they do NOT need to see what a competetor is doing so they can do the "same".

I think Serato is mostly concerned with what we think of the product (quality) and also our input for new (recommended) features.

Quality over Quantity!

Since I'm with the serato for long now, And I did use the tractor at my last gig. Eventhough it was my first time, feel the great, As I mention to you . The effects forget it . And to know the good out of others and improve is one of the best thing I guess. Just a suggestion.

You used it , So you don't find no defference ? or you don't realize ?

Very Important.
1- AutoSync.
2- BitGrate.
3- Effects.
And the library is way easier than ours.
And I guess if I used it more will know more rite ?

So, Hope our board members will try to look at it and find more better way to improve our Library and the Effects.

Rangzen have you considered the option of buying Traktor?
Coz they are two very different beasts targetting to different types of DJs. One isnt better than the other, its like trying to compare apples to oranges. Maybe the other option is more suited to what you want to accomplish.

maybe we just being naive about this, every single company in the world does it, like when honda came out with vtec, toyota made vtti and vw made valve something and everyone implemented the same technology cause is reliable, i dont think rangzen meant serato should "copy" traktor, i think he meant, serato should improve his effects, if traktor can why cant serato do it? this time ima ride with rangzen!! btw rangzen, where did you get power from at the farm? lol j/k

i was at least open minded to him until he listed autosync as #1 very important

whats wrong with autosync? is this like automix in vdj? lol
i thought that it was a feature that synchronizes your folders with your crates lol

From the way I understandit, Autosync is the same thing as automix, basically, it automatically syncs your tracks together.

hahahahah i think he mean it blends two tracks and does the mix by itself, i still thnk it syncs your folders with your crates, for us who dont use itunes would be a great addition to serato, scratchtools does it but it still to complcated and not accurate IMO i still do it manual :S

Improvement in your own and the improvement threw something else has a big difference I guess.

When you using the computer to D'jing AutoSync is offcourse important. But before you play you have to make it. Most of the time me by myself. Have to go there n here so you can use it at that time.(Emergency) Anyway, more option means more chance to show your skill.
