This is problem with people like VJ Justin Allen and jonnyb. Please start respect other people, you don't have to understand why somebody need this option.
Djing is freedom did you forget how people react when final scartch was realist on market, most people said what's the reasoning behind wanting it? and thinks like this, but know most of them play on system like final scratch or serato.
Do not even look on my private reason why i want this option. The post is for people who want to say i want this or i don't not. It is not for discussion about is good solution or not. And this is next reason why we should do decimal BPM to open mind people who are not explorers who gonna thinks in the way from other people instructions. One more time open your mind don't be static.

-1 Its already a breeze to beatmatch even without headphones. why make it any easier? This is the difference between Serato and Other DVS's. Serato is easy to use but the rest are even easier (except Xwax). Maybe work on your beatmatching a little more DJ Winamp

Do you NOT have enough visual aid with wave lengths?
It's about music and DJing.
Stop depending on your eyes so much and use your ears, have a rhythm within.
Hone your skill with practice, not the click of a mouse.
It feels SO MUCH BETTER when it's done this way, trust.

It seems like your mind needs to be open dj winamp. (is that REALLY your DJ name?)
If you cannot even articulate the reason why you want something then the chances of you getting it are slim and none.

Why you worry about me? don't be so nice and do what you have to do.
I was playing on that kind of systems like serato before serato was made it. I started on dj decks if you know what is this? That was home made system if i remember a soft was made by one guy from skandinawia home made and that was working with maya mk 44 and time code vinyl of final scratch. Configuration and keeping this system in order was very difficualt.
My name is winamp the boy who kill the vinyl don't you even say bull shit to me.
I was playing on this virtual systems when djs was saying that never gonna be used by top djs.
Africa bambaataa was restick labels on his vinyls to cover original titles, everyone has own secrets.
I have my and i don't jave to explain you why i want this option.
One more time open your mind.

You must have an easy life.
Are you some kind of DJ prince or something?
You just say you want something and you should get it...no questions asked?
you sir...are on some real Bullsh!t
You post a question. Who wants decimal points.
Some people say yes, others say NO
and YOU mention someone's lack of respect because they don't like it and would like to hear some kind of explanation. I will open my mind to your USELESS requests when you drag your ass back into the cave you came from.
There are real DJs here (including myself) who've been doing this while you were swimming around your poppas nut.
And to think you were the strongest swimmer.

Yea, your right Nick...I was out of line to say ban him.
However features should be talked about and there are at least 2 sides to every feature discussion...really three sides, those for it, those against it, and the developers opinion. Which is the only one that counts :)
My opinions is that decimal points for BPM's is yet another handholding feature...and one that actually doesn't work anyways when you are using timecode. There are way too many places where signal drift can occur, rendering the need to the decimal points useless.
Just my thoughts.

Precision is important for some. Less so for others. For those of us that are inclined to longer mixes (or mashes) digital precision can mean more time working the tracks, effects, etc and less time/stress tweaking the pitch. Plus or minus 5% over a 2 minute mix can really make a significant difference and hunting for that difference with the pitch controller is just taking my attention away from more creative opportunities. I can't see that it would hurt, and sure could help.
Best.

A. if it's an option I can turn off or select less decimals ==> sure why not, doesn't matter to me
B. if it's fixed and I'm stuck with it ==> no, defenitely not. Why? Because it distracts me, I only want the major numbers for guideline and the rest by ear. And because the BPM calculation isn't 100% accurate anyway and those extra decimals will be incorrect anyway and your mix probably won't fit.
But as I said, if it's an option where I can choose less decimals... sure why not, have fun.
