probably a simple question, but i cant figure out how to enable these effects. it says in the manual to click through the effect choices with your mouse but i am not seeing them anywhere. im stuck with delay on all three user positions for now. someone please enlighten me!
also - vfx1 + vci 300 still perform great - on the dell 10v hackintosh.
no hiccups at all

Yeah, sorry guys. The manual was old before the functionality was finalized and we missed it before print :-(
As Kraal says.
We'll put an updated manual up soon.

Hmmm, still can't get this to work. Holding shift and turning mod does nothing for me.

what other effects can be set to the user options? (such as repeater, braker etc.)
are there many others or are they just for different set up of the 9 main effects?

Right now, there are no other effects. Perhaps over time, Serato will add additional effects to ITCH's arsenal.
I believe the intention with user-1, user-2, and user-3 is that you could store different preset values for the effect settings. E.g., you might want two different echos with different default feedback values. You can save the feedback value for one in the standard echo slot, and then assign echo to one of the three user slots and save it with a different default feedback value.

The plan is to keep developing and extending the effects. We offered the potential to customize the VFX in mind since we didn't want VFX users to have some hardware limitation that didn't allow them to use cool new effects as they became available.

Got my VFX at GC and works flawless. Thanks kraal for figuring out the shift mod combo in the vci/vfx. You are a wealth of knowledge.
Cheers:)
