What pedal/footswitch is best for the TTM 57?

Me and my buddy both have a TTM 57 and we are trying to use the foot switch function on the mixer. I have a 1 button switch that I use for my 909, but it doesn't seem to be very simple to use with the 57. Thanks in advance.

I bought a Digitech GNXFC 3 pedal foot controller. When using the effects, only the middle pedal is used to turn on/off the effect. Otherwise, its useless (to me) with the other group settings.
