I don't know about nutting in pants, but I'm thinkin about it. I have to look over some prices though. Some of this depends on if I'm bringing my girl or not.. so I'll have to wait and see.

Fill out the below application for a 6 month complimentary membership to NAMM (Fees waived) and you also get a badge to the show. I believe you gotta pay 25 bucks to get in at the show when you pick up the badge.

In my case, I ticked off Services under DJ...cause I be professional fuckers!

So fill this out, scan it back into your comp and email it to NAMM. email's at the bottom of the app.

I'd suggest you definitely get a rental car if haven't booked one already and stay by the beach somewhere between Anaheim & LA - Manhattan Beach, Santa Monica or Huntington Beach...that gives you flexibility to hit up a bunch of places within a relatively short driving distance.

I've stayed at Seaview Inn in Manhattan Beach twice and liked my stay there...and it has a dope breakfast place called Local Yolk right next to it, and a pretty dope massage place...no happy endings though!

Thanks. I some family in Glendale, so I am contemplating staying out there and getting up at the crack of d to drive out to Anaheim (which isn't my style).

How much goes on after the show each day? If there are some good DJs to catch each night I'll book a room.

after the show, you'll be pretty tired from walking all day. you'll probably wanna just get some dinner and make it an easy night. i'd recommend staying in the long beach area, thats a good middle point. some parts of long beach is the hood, but by the water (belmont shores) is very nice. The Sheraton in Cerritos is nice too, thats a good middle point too and a nice area, thats where i grew up.

Thanks for the tips. I'm giving the whole day Thurs, Fri, and Sat to the show and maybe will stop by Sunday morning before the Jammy Jam. So I am sure that I will want to chill afterward. How far is Basic's from the event and in which direction?

I've been land locked in Nor Cal a loooong time but I drove past this place one of my very few visits and did like a quadruple take on it bouncing up and down like a 3 year old because there was a DJ store. This was a long time ago though so I am happy to know that its still there, I would love to pay a visit and do a little digging.

There are 2 airports in Chicago and there is no way that Im driving to another airport in another city to leave a car over the weekend, pay for parking and a possible speeding ticket on the way there and back to catch a $100 cheaper flight.. In the end it will be more of a hassle and maybe even more expensive.. Thanks for the heads up tho!

Definitely a good time... Dub was showing me some sick cuts (as usual) and Sheak came thru and killed it. Blisk made the Billy Joel DNB, Remix, mashup joint... New dudes were just sitting back and relaxing, except Alfie who didn''t bring a laptop to a jammy jam, LOL, but used mine... There were like 800 dudes in Mike's crib and like 4 girls, LOL.. We definitely needed a 3rd setup, so next time I'm bringing my VCI-300...

Cubicle is dope on the house music, and he was keeping up with the all of the hip hop. Allenbina, Blisk, Mike P, Uno Seis, The New Guy... you're all a bunch of cool dudes, sorry if I forgot anyone... too many names to remember.

We actually wanted to go to the Serato/Ableton party, then to Basic's gig then stay overnight and come to the jam. But the first one didn't happen so the rest didn't either.

We then decided to go to the beach instead but it was raining.... so that killed it.
Spent the weekend home with the kids. Had an awesome time.

Yo Michael Basic, thank you for hosting the Jam. The vinyl wall is way more impressive in real life. I'm glad I could make a contribution to the ultimate Serato art piece.

I was only there for a short time so I didn't get a chance to meet everybody or drop any Humboldt funk on the decks but I am very happy to have met so many cool people and finally put some faces to some names.

The traffic on the way over reminded me why I live as far away from LA as I do, but I hope to make it down more often.

On that note, if any of you ever make it as far North as Eureka please link me up. Humboldt County has a dope DJ scene and lots of dancefloor junkies that appreciate good DJs. (and yes, lots of weed too but I think LA has us beat now)

They're single ear one is kinda cool. It's 4 speakers and dual channel...so its combining the stereo signal into the one monitor and sends the left to 2 speakers and the right to two speakers.

why do you think we were at the ultimate ears booth for 4 hours?
we were trying out and comparing the different models before narrowing it down to the two monitors that sounded the best to our ears. I even consulted with their audiologist and a few of the artists that use them who came by the booth. Before making my decision.

Yeah i sometimes do that spot with Panic but I am usually in whittier at the Radisson with the Wanderer and Adrian V. and I got a new spot on Thursdays in San Dimas with adrian V. it's at the zendejas Restaurant.very cool spot. I will have Panic come down and spin at San Dimas sometime. come hangout man.

lol!!! DJ Bucky, You spin at the Radisson and Zendejas?? Been wanting to check out the Radisson. Been to zendejas, cool spot. Not sure if you where djing that night, but the dj's where alright. I loved that they plaed some classic house. But my Boy Ant said they hit him up about djing at the Radisson. Said they where looking for another dj?

Yeah I do the Radisson every other Friday. I do it next Friday but yeah they r or were looking for some other dj's but I don't know what happen to that.
