TTM 57 SL + SL3 + 2 Laptops 1 setup

Ok so I tried to connect above configuration but no luck. Is there anyway to use 2 laptops on 57 sl and sl3?

Yes, you can daisy chain an SL1 and 57 or an SL3 and a 57

SL1+57

Hook turntables into SL1, run THRU outputs on SL1 into two inputs on the 57 (1 and 3 most likely), set these two inputs as the "input source" on the computer the 57 is plugged into in the setup (i.e. the inputs you want to use for the vinyl control). Set dip switches on 57 to phono for these inputs. Run SL1 Line outputs into the other two inputs on the 57 (2 and 4 most likely), set dip switches to line for these inputs on the 57.

Now, on the 57, move PGM knobs to A2 and A4 for the SL1 DJ. D1 and D2 obviously for the 57 DJ. If you want to play normal vinyl, move PGM knobs to A1 and A3.

SL3+57

Run turntables into SL3. Since the SL3 doesn't have separate THRU outputs like the SL1, just run the outputs of the SL3 into two inputs on the 57, A1 and A3. However, set the dip switches on the 57 for these inputs to line, NOT phono. Set these inputs as the input source on the 57 computer in the setup menu.

SL3 DJ needs to move PGM knobs to A1 and A3. When it comes turn for the 57 DJ to play, the SL3 DJ must active the "thru" buttons on their laptop under the abs/rel/int buttons, or use keyboard shortcuts F4 and F9, in order to pass the control signal to the 57 so the 57 DJ can use (57 DJ must turn PGM knobs to D1 and D2). To play normal vinyl use A1 and A3 with the "thru" buttons highlighed on the SL3 laptop.

It's sounds more difficult than it really is, just takes a little practice.

i use a 57 and my partner uses a 800, i go aux out to his line and we get the best of both with the effects on that pioneer... he uses an SL3. I just sold my SL1 for $400 and someone sold me the SL3 for $400 a week later, there is a god! :)
